Missed me?

So yeah, it’s been a long time, a very long time!

So in my last post, that post I posted roughly 2 years ago I mention that I was thinking of becoming an au pair, well, I did it. I now work for a lovely family in Nottingham, have been here since September 2009 so I guess that’s why the blog got forgotten about.

I work for a single mum and she has 2 children, 2 boys and they both have autism. Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with, and relates to, other people. It also affects how they make sense of the world around them. Autism is a spectrum condition so everyone with autism will share certain difficulties, they will be affected by them in different ways.

It’s like a zoo here, she has 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 fish, 2 cockerels and 7 chickens and during my time here she has had 3 other dogs, 4 other fish, 3 other chickens and 4 ducks, unfortunately the chickens and ducks met Mr Fox

Anyways, that’s enough rambling for now, hopefully I’m back, you never know

It’s been a long while

It been quite some time since I last updated my blog but have no fear I haven’t forgotten it.

Nothing too eventful has happened in the past few months, I did go on a 5 day holiday to the English coast but that is as exciting as it gets.

What are you doing now you may ask. Well I’m looking into becoming an Au Pair (if you don’t know what it is google it). I’ve had fantastic offers from all around the world so I just have to decided where I wanna go and what’s best for me.

Yes, Happy Birthday Dad!

Busy day for me today. Firstly it’s my dad’s birthday, then I have to tidy the house cause my friend is coming over, then I have to go into town to visit the bank, then I’m going to do my friend’s hair and make up for her prom and then I’m going to get ready myself for a night down town. Think I’m gonna sleep very well when I finally get to bed!

For my friend’s prom look, I’ve got to try and re-create Hayden Panettiere’s golden globes look.

I managed to get something similar on my own face so hopefully I’ll be able to re-re-create this look this afternoon haha.

It’s been a while

The last few weeks of college were crazy, trying to get al my work finished and then we had the trip to London that totally wore me out. But now I think I’ve recovered and I’m back to blogging

Crazy Cats

I just had to blog about this. I was playing on my dance mat earlier and i left it out while I got something to eat and when I got back in the room my cats were laying onthe dance mat and they’d set it off and scored 4 points! Haha tis crazy

Drop a dress size in a month?

That’s my plan anyway. I wanna go from a 12 back down to a 10 for summer. If this holiday ever happens we’ll be going at the start of July so that gives me just over a month to get into shape. I already eat pretty healthily I just do practically no exercise at all. I’ve cut out all the boredom eating and have taken to drinking water and orange juice instead and I’ve dug out my fitness DVDs and I’m gunna get on with one when I’ve watch the rest of 10 Things I Hate About you and posted a letter

Busy Morning

I’ve spent the the whole morning copying my friends makeup tutorials onto my laptop so I can upload them onto the website I’m making for her. I’ve had to copy and the text and save all the photos and she’s written most of them in text speak so I’ve had to translate haha. It’ll all be worth it in the end

It’s a record

This is officially the longest period of time that I’ve kept a blog. I usually leave it after the first post or I never even post on it. I have 20 something posts on here and I’ve been here a couple of weeks and it looks like I’m sticking to it for once.

I’ve just had my passport photos taken and omg I soo need a holiday! I’m soooo pale! I could be mistaken for a ghost I’m that pale! Looks like I better slap on the fake tan!
